The King Baudouin Foundation’s activities in this field are part of the Pacte d’excellence (Excellence Pact), which targets school management as the veritable linchpin of reform. The role of a school’s management, and especially the quality of its leadership, is crucial to improving the quality of our educational system to the service of every pupil’s success. Committed to the digital transformation of society, the Foundation is also involved in training pupils and their teachers in digital technologies.

  • support for innovative projects aimed at introducing digital skills into schools
  • the development of initiatives to anchor sustainably the practice of coaching for school managements, which strengthens their pedagogic leadership
  • reinforcing initial training of nursery school teachers in relation to the challenges of poverty and diversity
  • promotion of good practices and encouraging collaboration.
