The Fund Emile Carpentier supports biochemical research, more specifically, research on biochemical action mechanisms in cancer.
Through this financial support, the Fund encourages the research of young post-doctoral students.

Awarded in 2023, for a period of two years:
- KU Leuven (Marlies Vanden Bempt) - Characterization of non-canonical EZH2 transcriptional complexes to identify new therapeutic targets in peripheral T cell lymphoma
- Université libre de Bruxelles (Evelyne Collignon) - An innovative epitranscriptomic approach to target cancer persister cells
The Fund is launching a joint call together with other Funds in 2025.
